Wheel Of The Year – Ostara

‘The Wheel of the Year’ is an annual cycle of seasonal festivals, observed by many modern Pagans, consisting of the year’s chief solar events (solstices and equinoxes) and the midpoints between them. Ostara celebrates the spring (or vernal) equinox (between March 19-23) and takes its name after the Germanic goddess of spring and dawn, Eostre, who was traditionally honoured in the month of April with festivals to celebrate fertility, renewal and re-birth.
