Stardust junk journal

Here’s one more design team project, by Gabriela from Penny & Rose Paperie. Gabriela used my ‘Stardust’ junk journal kit and she also used ‘Les Etoiles’, cards with illustrations from J.J. Grandville, one of Gabriela’s favorite illustrators from the 1800’s. It was after she saw those cards, that she got the idea for a celestial junk journal.

Gabriela loves to combine vintage ephemera with fabric trims and ribbons, roses and flowers. That’s one of the things that makes her style so unique. In this journal I also love the pages that she printed on vellum, and the envelope that she made with one of the papers, the touches of gold ink on the edges and oh well, you just have to see for yourself in the flip through below.
