12 DIY gifts for Father’s Day
In just two weeks we celebrate the men in our lives. The best gifts however, do not always come from the store. Creating a homemade gift can be so much fun and will make a unique gift that no one else has. The items in the ‘Father’s Day Ideas’ section in my Etsy shop can help you with that. Here are just a few ideas for your inspiration!
1
Use coin envelopes as gift wrapping for gift coupons. Coupons are always a fun gift idea. Make a coupon booklet filled with great ‘deals’, such as a free car wash from the kids, a free breakfast in bed from mom…
2
Fill the Coin Envelopes with some of dads favorite goodies, or fill them with dad’s favorite sweets or cookies!

3
Does your dad or husband have a man cave (that place where men retreat if they need a break or to have fun with friends)? Surprise him with a print of the Man Cave poster. Print on a canvas, or print on paper and frame it.
4
Decorate your gifts with a beautiful gift tag saying ‘You are my hero’ or ‘You are my number one’ (or one of the other tags). That will make the gift even more special.

5
Is your dad or husband an avid reader? Surprise him with a new book and a personalized Ex Libris bookplate attached to it. If he often lends out books to family and friends, give him a whole stock of Ex Libris bookplates that he can use to mark his books.
6
Perhaps your dad or husband loves working in the garden… In that case, prepare a ‘Garden Kit’ for him. Print the Garden Planner, where he can keep track of his garden chores. Print and assemble a collection of seed packets so he can stock seeds from the garden, and add an envelope with a bunch of Garden Stock Labels, to allow him to make an inventory of what’s in the garden shed.

If your dad or husband is more of a computer man, with an office full of printers, computers, scanners etc you can print and cut out the Cable Labels for him, so he can label all his cords and cables!
8
Maybe your dad or husband is an amateur photographer? Use the ‘A Moment Captured’ collection to make a photography themed card for him, or a cover for a photography themed journal.

If dad is none of the above, create a memory book for him. A memory book from that last trip you made together, or the party you organized for his birthday last year, or a memory book with your families most treasured moments… Memory books are always great gifts, no matter what the occasion. Use themed papers and embellishments.
10
Pick some beautiful papers and make a collection of coasters. He will definitely enjoy using those in his man cave with his friends!
11
Use those papers to wrap little gifts, like treats and snacks, some men’s accessories perhaps (a beautiful tie, a pair of socks, some handkerchiefs) … Put all these little gifts in one big ‘Father’s Day Gift Basket’.

Dads deserve to relax at the end of the day. Buy a (scented) candle, print a beautiful paper on vellum and make a wrap around the glass of the candle. The light will shine through and give a nice glow. You can also do this with a collage of pictures!
