Hybrid Paper Pouches

Hi everyone! Katie here! I wanted to show you this cute and easy hybrid project using Watercolor Papers Volume 1. These papers are gorgeous (and hand-painted!). I thought they would make such pretty marbled paper eggs. I took it a step further and made little candy pouches.

I started by creating egg-shaped clipping masks for the paper in Photoshop Elements. You could use any simple shape for these pouches. The simpler the better.

Print and cut. Sew almost all the way around the egg, leaving a gap so you can put the candy inside. All that’s left is to sew it up the rest of the way.

These make a fun and unique treat just in time for the holiday.
