I’m sure we can all relate to this somehow… there just never seem to be enough hours in a day. Rachel from Captivated Visions and I made a kit about it. Rachel and I go back a long way, I have been on her creative team for what it seems like ages!

Acrylic Transitions Vol01

9 exclusive, stunning mixed media artist papers, brought to you straight from the atelier of the artist Wim Heldenmoed (who is my husband by the way). He created these delicious textures by mixing gesso, acrylic paint and bistre on a plastic sheet. These are real artist papers, meaning they were used in an exhibition. They were scanned at 600 DPI and edited for maximum quality in Photoshop by me. Now you can create art yourself, by using these artist papers as backgrounds in your digital scrapbooking, papercraft or art journaling projects. Whimsical Frames Vol02

Honestly, you can never have enough frames in your stash… These very realistic looking torn photo frames will add a little extra to your digital scrapbooking pages and you will use them over and over again. They’re super easy to use, just clip your photos or favourite papers to the clipping mask, and you’re done.

We all have our bad days, days when we feel low, sad and depressed. Days when everything feels heavy and pointless Life is never a continuous stream of happiness. But we do have the power to turn things around and if we work through the bad days, good days will come again. Everybody is different, and everybody has different ways of dealing with pain. Some listen to music, some write down their feelings in a journal. Sometimes it helps to have a good cry and reach out to friends or family. And sometimes you just have to scrap about it.

I teamed up with Dawn Inskip and we created ‘Feeling Blue’, a huge art journaling collection, that focuses on the theme of having a bad day and how to deal with it.

Feeling Blue is jampacked with bits and pieces that are perfect for art journaling and all kinds of mixed media and paper projects to express yourself and deal with those bad days: painted and textured backgrounds and a huge set of elements, comprised of well chosen vintage ephemera, paint, inky splats, drips and stamps, words and much more, all in tones of blue and purple, with a hint of pink and dusky carmine.
