Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, in many countries. In Belgium we have a ‘second’ Mother’s Day that is celebrated on August 15th. Though it is a holiday, I have to admit, we never paid much attention to it, and being a mom myself, I don’t really want anything special on that day; a kiss and a hug will do. My daughter has prepared a surprise for me… What I know, is that she ordered a package for me and it has to do with something vintage, LOL.

Last minute gifts - ready to print

The weather has been quite warm in Belgium over the past few days, it almost felt like summer! And it’s been quite a week, yesterday we sold the house that we have been living in for the past 12 years! It was actually sold in January, but only now is it official, with all the necessary paperwork. And next Monday, we are officially going to buy the house that we’ll be moving into in August! We are so much looking forward to moving, we’ll have so much more space and I will have my own studio to work in, how awesome is that!

New is the printable version of the kit, with all papers saved as printable 8.5 x 11 in JPG files (will also print fine as A4) and 8 sheets with embellishments. If you are a hybrid scrapper or paper crafter, if you love making (junk) journals, albums or notebooks, then this is the perfect pack for you! The letter size papers and embellishment sheets are ready to print from your own computer and you do not need Photoshop or any other graphic software to use them. On Mother’s Day moms do not always want expensive presents. A very personal gift, made with love, will be so much more appreciated. Introducing my newest creative team member Scrap Queen

A few months ago a customer sent me a link to an amazing video tutorial for a hybrid project, where my Alice In Wonderland Papers were used in a gorgeous mini-album. Watch the video here. I got in touch with Scrap Queen and I asked her if she would be willing to do more hybrid projects for me, using my designs. She said yes and I was thrilled! I was really missing someone like her in my team, someone who uses my designs beyond digital scrapbooking.

Scrap Queen has her first hybrid project ready for me, accompanied by a step-by-step tutorial for a ‘loaded envelope’ and she uses the red Happy Mother’s Day printables. It’s truly amazing, I’m not a paper crafter, and I could never imagine making something as awesome as this. I am going to stop talking now and let you watch the video for yourself - enjoy!

I have a second new hybrid girl in my team, who will use my designs to create mostly project life hybrid layouts. I’ll introduce her later, when she finishes her first project!
