Hi everyone,

I know many of you are celebrating Thanksgiving today. In Belgium we do not celebrate this holiday, but I have made a new Thanksgiving themed collection anyway. Even without celebrating Thanksgiving, there is always something to be grateful for.

‘Thank You’ was inspired by the true spirit of Thanksgiving and was designed in a more traditional style with lots of vintage things. Included is a gorgeous set of papers in warm and rich colours, some of the patterns have a bit of glitter added for a festive look. You will definitely love the texture of the papers, as well as the perfect mix of realistic elements and vintage ephemera, stamps and a bit of paint for an artsy touch.

Although this collection is thanksgiving themed, a lot of the papers and elements would work just as well for other holidays, like Christmas. That makes this collection quite versatile and perfect to scrap all those wonderful holiday memories.

I have added a new set of commercial use textures to my shop at Sugarhillco yesterday. It’s a set of 8 marbled textures, created using black and bronze paint - created by my husband Wim. They were then scanned and edited by me and saved as 12×12 JPG files at 300 DPI.

The bronze paint adds a festive look to these textures, in a very discrete way. These would make a great addition to your holiday kits!

Wood Pieces Vol02 - Mushrooms

Aren’t these mushrooms so darn cute? I went to an interior design fair a few weeks ago, and wooden mushrooms were an absolute trend.

With this pack you will get 16 wooden mushrooms in their original colours, as shown on the preview (no recolouring!). They were photographed, edited and extracted by me and saved as individual PNG files. Great for use in autumn, winter and holiday themed projects and kits. You will receive 4 mushrooms of app. 720 px high, 4 mushrooms of app. 500 px high, 4 mushrooms of app. 355 px high and 4 mushrooms tops - those are the actual sizes of the mushrooms. Each size comes in 4 different colours: green + gold dots, red + white dots, pink + silver dots, white + gold dots.

Leaf Texture Overlays Vol01

My husband Wim, who’s an artist, created this amazing set of 6 transparant leaf textures, using black acrylic paint and large leaves on a plastic plate. He pressed them on paper, and I scanned, edited and turned them into PNG files. These are great to add textures to papers, by simply recolouring, or by clipping patterns to them. You will receive 6 hi res 12X12 in PNG files (black).

I have a new set of Whimsical Frames for you!

Included in this pack are 5 autumn themed layered vintage frame templates for your fall pictures. The frames are real vintage frames, scanned, edited and extracted by me.

Since these are layered, you can choose what layers you want to use or not, mix and match, recolour, move around… Create your own unique frames over and over again, or go for quick and easy and keep them as is, all you have to do is clip your photo to the clipping mask.

Each frame comes in PNG, PSD and TIF format.

Creative Team member Andrea has set up a new challenge at Oscraps.

Last month we worked on perspective photos. We used photos that were taken from different vantage points. This time, let’s make your background an integral part of your photo – meaning, consider the background of your photo as a secondary subject. Try to have the subject and the background compliment each other… in other words, be aware of the background in your photos PLUS make your photos black and white.
