Hi ! ‘My One True Love’ is now back in my shop at Oscraps, ànd available in my shop at Scrap Girls. ‘My One True Love’ is a digital scrapbooking collection created with soft and faded colors like pink and purple, a warm golden yellow, and a lovely blue. Sturdy army colors like brown, beige and green are a nice contrast. Romantic floral pattern papers, violets and roses, doiley stamps, messy stitches, glitter, metal objects and mixed media hearts, painted elements and vintage ephemera and a large pack of dymo word strips… That is everything you need to decorate your engagement photo album, or to scrap about the ones you love, whether that is your one true love, or your children, a relative, or even a close friend.

The inspiration for this collection came from an old postcard that I bought on a second hand website… It was a bundle of 4 coordinating postcards, picturing a soldier and his girl… I think they are from the forties. I sampled the colors from this postcard and used them in my kit and the rest of the inspiration just came along as I designed papers and elements…

I Heart You is a fun and whimsical collection created from an eyecatching palette with imperial purple, bright orange, flaming red, delicate pink, and a few neutral shades to tone it down a bit. A set of 6 digital silver heart pendants, photographed, carefully extracted and edited, to mix and match in your personal romantic, Valentine’s Day or wedding themed projects, or for the creation of digital scrapbooking elements for kits that you sell.

7 brads with roses and romantic vintage images and 5 clips or fasteners, in their original colors, as shown on the preview (no recoloring). They were photographed, edited and extracted by me and saved as individual PNG files. These are great for use in your romantic or Valentine’s Day themed projects and kits. The size of the brads and the clips is approximately 236 px wide (real size).

5 dried wildflowers (gathered during a trip to France) and 1 dried leaf in their original colors and actual sizes. They were scanned, edited and meticulously extracted by me. These are great for your travel or outdoors themed kits, for romantic themes or for use in your personal scrapbook, art journaling, papercraft or other projects. You will receive 2 dried poppies, 1 dried camomille, 2 dried blue cornflowers and 1 dried leaf.

15 stamped rounds. I made these with acrylic paint and a kitchen sponge. They were then scanned, cleaned up and saved as individual PNG files and Photoshop Brushes. Use them to liven up your personal digital scrapbooking or art journaling layouts or to help you create digital scrapbook papers and elements for kits that you sell.

Three weeks, that is the time it took to buy a new house, and sell our current house… It’s totally crazy! We’ve been running around to get all the paperwork done, meet with contractors for the renovation, sending e-mails, making phone calls… while trying to keep up with work, household and all the daily activities… It’s amazing, it’s exciting and yes, exhausting too! My design time has been brought to a minimum… What is happening now is a temporary situation of course and if all goes well, we will be moving into the new house around August 16th. Vintage Herbarium Papers

These herbarium pages were created from an old herbarium that my husband made as a child. I carefully scanned them (they were so fragile) and edited them with a soft matte filter to turn them into unique scrapbook backgrounds. Don’t you just love the incredibly real texture, the aged and yellowed tape, the faded colours? You will receive 13 hi res 12×12 in JPG files, including 10 papers with dried flowers and plants, 1 back, 1 pink slip sheet and - as a bonus - the cover of the herbarium itself.

I am re-releasing ‘My One True Love’ this weekend. My One True Love is the first Valentine’s Day themed digital scrapbooking collection that I made.
