We all have our bad days, days when we feel low, sad and depressed. Days when everything feels heavy and pointless Life is never a continuous stream of happiness. But we do have the power to turn things around and if we work through the bad days, good days will come again. Everybody is different, and everybody has different ways of dealing with pain. Some listen to music, some write down their feelings in a journal. Sometimes it helps to have a good cry and reach out to friends or family. And sometimes you just have to scrap about it.
I teamed up with Dawn Inskip and we created ‘Feeling Blue’, a huge art journaling collection, that focuses on the theme of having a bad day and how to deal with it.

I created ‘The Scent Of Fall’ back in July when the summer had only just begun. But I LOVE fall and so I didn’t have to look too hard for inspiration. The Scent Of Fall focuses on all things comfy and cozy in this wonderful time of year, and more specifically all the autumn spices like the crispness of the air, the earthy scent of leaves beneath your feet, the smell of the rain, hot apple cider, pumpkin bread warm out of the oven, the yummy smells from burning candles, cinnamon and vanilla…

I love this quote by Stevenson, and I can so relate to what he says: there truly is something magical about the forest. The silence and the timelesness, the sound of crunching leaves beneath your feet, sunlight peaking through trees and branches, the smell of pine trees, berries, dried leaves and all things woodsy, especially in the fall season, are comforting to the soul and bring peace to your heart. I love the forest, more than I love the beach. And I love walking in it, but I don’t do it often enough. There aren’t that many nearby woods where I live and I have to drive a bit before I have one.
This beautiful woodland themed collection, with a hint of autumn, is perfect for scrapping all your woodland pictures, for fall layouts and for documenting outdoor activities in general.
