Zapparade

Check this out! The banner I designed for this year’s Zapparade, and an older design that I made two years ago (the banner with the girl and the violin). Always exciting to see it printed!

I remember when I made the girl with the violin banner… I was asked to design a banner that would represent the ‘spirit’ of Zapparade… Not an easy thing to do. Although I very well knew what Zapparade felt like to me, it was really hard to put an image on it. I remember multiple sleepless nights as the deadline came nearer. Then, one Friday night, I got up at 1 o’clock in the morning (I couldn’t sleep anyway), because I had a head full of ideas for that banner. And yes, that night, the design for the ‘Spirit of Zapparade’ was born LOL. That night I went back to bed at around 5 in the morning, tired, but very happy. I finished the banner the next day 🙂

I’m working on the Zapparade program today! It’s a 20 pages A5 booklet that will guide you through the afternoon and evening. And this is the last of the artwork for this year’s Zapparade event. I’m always happy when everything comes together.
